What’s the most practical way to crush and recycle old asphalt?

Hi everyone,
I’ve got a fairly large amount of old asphalt from a renovation project and I’m trying to figure out the most practical way to reuse it instead of sending it all to a landfill.
The material is already broken up into chunks, but some pieces are still quite large. I’m considering crushing it down and using the recycled asphalt as a base for access roads and other areas around the site.
For those who have experience with this, what type of crusher or setup works best for old asphalt? Is a small mobile crusher enough for this kind of job, or is it better to use a larger impact or jaw crusher?
I’d also be interested to hear how others handle things like reinforcing material or oversized chunks before crushing.
Any practical advice or recommendations from people who have actually recycled old asphalt would be greatly appreciated.
